-
William Rodgers, Founder/CEO
Bill brings the vision, builds the team, and charts the course. As CEO of Mindsway, he helped bring online auction selling to the everyday person. He doesn’t know the meaning of “quit”, believes that anything can be done, and oh yeah, bleeds ‘blue and silver’. How ’bout them Cowboys?

William Rodgers
Founder/CEO -
Adam Smith, Co-Founder/CSO
Adam brings the strategy, finds the technology, and develops the business. So if you’re a brand, retailer, or technology developer aficionado and want to do business with us, talk to Adam (and don’t let his many titles intimidate you).

Adam Smith
Co-Founder/CSO -
Scott Berman, Co-Founder/CCO
Scott brings Blastoff to life, creating the company’s branding, user experience, and advertising campaigns. He has the ability to translate thought into a visual masterpiece, and according to the Macromedia Flash Film Festival, there’s no one better. We’re not worthy!

Scott Berman
Co-Founder/CCO -
John Pitts, COO
You know where you stand with John, even if you’re sitting. With over 25 years managing business units and sales teams, he’s a straight shooter with a history of streamlining operations. As an avid guitar player with 9 axes who’s also met Joe Walsh, we expect an office serenade soon.

John Pitts
COO -
Bryan Martin, CFO
Bryan oversees the money in and out for the company, as well as keeping us in compliance. From there to here, from here to there, numbers and spreadsheets everywhere.

Bryan Martin
CFO -
Bobby Johns, Principal Architect
For more than 20 years, Bobby has functioned as the ‘when-it’s-not-there-it’s-my-fault’ guy, providing high performance and high availability web computing. When not at work (which isn’t often), he enjoys flying helicopters and abusing musical instruments.

Bobby Johns
Principal Architect -
Samia Hall, VP Merchandising
Native Hoosier with over 10 years of shopping–we mean “retail”–experience, Samia loves completing projects and has an MBA in Business Management. She manages vendor relationships, the Blastoff Mall, and Specials and Promotions. We think her Blackberry is an additional appendage.

Samia Hall
VP Merchandising -
Susan Tonjes, VP Program Mgmt.
Susan came to us with a herd of cats and more than 20 years of managerial consulting experience. She runs her own consulting firm, is a founding member of a non-profit women’s organization, was the youngest woman to reach SVP at Sabre Holdings, and volunteers with a local hospital, as well as local animal welfare groups. Whew!

Susan Tonjes
VP Program Mgmt. -
Aaron Matthews, Director of Mktg & Social Media
Aaron’s instincts for what’s cool (and what’s not) have served him well. He’s been an early arrival to more than one popular social network site, takes his fun seriously (and his seriousness lightheartedly) and works hard to create dynamic experiences for everyone.

Aaron Matthews
Director of Marketing -
Juli Todd, Executive Assistant
Juli not only regulates the daily goings-on’s, but also brings order to our chaos (without causing any herself,of course). She fancies herself ‘ruler of all’,which may be accurate given her 15-year background of administrative support, but we think it’s because she’s keeper of the food and drink.

Juli Todd
Executive Assistant -
Ed Grimberg, Controller
As a CPA with diverse industry experience, Ed has spent his professional years crunching numbers for a variety of folks. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, exercise, and cooking. His plan is to live forever; so far, so good…but has he eaten his own cooking?

Ed Grimberg
Controller -
Dave Kiger, Sr. Web Developer/Scrum Master
Our Scrum Master is the ‘man behind the curtain’, keeping the wolves away from the Blastoff flock. In addition to his 10 years of PHP web development, Dave spent his early years running an after-school/summer daycare, which effectively prepared him to facilitate a development team, especially ours.

Dave Kiger
Sr. Web Developer -
Dave Gouldin, Sr. Web Developer
Our resident musician and member of the band “Watching Cars”. Dave is an amalgam of programmer, performer, and chocolate snob. Dave is also a fan of Kurt Vonnegut novels and Wes Anderson films, so we never know whether to laugh or be afraid around him.

Dave Goulin
Sr. Web Developer -
Chris Davis, Sr. Web Developer
Chris left the land of fine arts and found his true calling in the world of web development. Ultimately, he was able to merge the two worlds as the author of two books. Chris keeps our development team running…for their lives; his team building exercises involve virtually sniping his friends.

Chris Davis
Sr. Web Developer -
Greg Winn, Sr. Web Developer
Having spent four years in the USAF and a tour in Iraq, the horrors of our office couldn’t faze Greg. His seven years of web development experience more than qualify him to hold our frontline. He also counts his time with Match.com as work experience, even though they paid him in dates.

Greg Winn
Sr. Web Developer -
Steven Van Nguyen, Sr. Web Developer
We hired Steve because he can finish Minesweeper in under 90 seconds..on the expert level! And then there’s that programming expertise thing too. Steve lends his intense concentration and dedication to the development team – even while doing his job; otherwise, we can’t drag him off the disc golf course.

Steven Van Nguyen
Sr. Web Developer -
Patrick Sharp, Sr. Web Developer
Patrick puts things in ways everyone can understand them, whether it’s millions of lines of code running on itty bitty embedded silicon chips spread across the world wide web or building a Lego model. If you meet him, shake his hand. You’ll be shaking hands with hand that shook Buzz Aldrin’s and Kathy Ireland’s hands.

Patrick Sharp
Sr. Web Developer -
David M. Rogers, Web Developer
He’s not from TX, but we don’t hold that against him. D3 brings many years of user interface experience with him, so we granted him unofficial residency. Dave may be our ‘make-it-look-nice’ guy, but he’s still searching for the Photoshop filter that makes people look like models.

David M. Rogers
Web Developer -
Adam Crabtree, Web Developer
Born and raised in southern California, Adam is a displaced beach bum who enjoys many outdoor activities, from snowboarding to mountain climbing. Founder of the Dallas JavaScript user group, he sees JavaScript as the future of the net. While lead developer at two start-ups, he learned “to relax and enjoy the crisis.”

Adam Crabtree
Web Developer -
Booker Marina, Sr. Front-End Dev
From the front-end to the back-end, Booker’s had it covered for the past 12 years. While not cutting and coding our content, he spends time with his 2 kids, 2 dogs, and many bonsai trees. Like St. Augustine, he feels that “patience is the companion of wisdom.”

Booker Marina
Sr. Front-End Dev -
Brent Molloy, Sr. Unix System Admin
Brent has bounced around the Unix-verse for over 20 years, so we assume he must know a thing or two. With a wife and two kids to keep him in line, he doesn’t sweat the small stuff. And to him, everything is small stuff.

Brent Molloy
Sr. Unix Sys Admin -
Bill Petersen, Sr. Unix System Admin
Bill loves challenges, so we give him plenty. With more than 15 years of experience implementing and supporting networked enterprise solutions, however, he tackles them easily. He also loves to travel, especially camping and sailing, and putting his amateur radio license to good use.

Bill Petersen
Sr. Unix Sys Admin -
Lee Shapiro, Copywriter
With everything from screenplays to comic books in his repertoire, our writing czar is the voice behind the text. When not taking a Hollywood meeting, Lee’s teaching, engaged in community service, or buried in home improvement projects. He worked on both Batman and The Tick, so his writing style must be, you know, um.catchy.

Lee Shapiro
Copywriter -
Phillip Walker, Creative Services Director
Whether deciphering the cryptic vision of our CCO or giving Blastoff its public face, Phillip can tackle it thanks to 15 years of digital media experience…and a nice glass of Scotch. His father’s advice was relevant to our office: “The pain will go away when it stops hurting.”

Phillip Walker
Creative Svcs. Dir. -
James Rockett, Sr.Desiger/Multimedia Specialist
James received his position mainly due to his last name, and of course, his experience as a filmmaker and multimedia developer in the direct sales and network marketing arenas. He also enjoys making movies-we don’t ask him what kind-and losing money on fantasy football.

James Rockett
Sr. Designer -
Jason Chisum, CSR
Jason loves the great outdoors, which uniquely qualifies him to sit in a cubicle all day. He leverages his background of managing a 40-member customer service center to our benefit. From hiking in CO to playing golf closer to home, we let him out once in a while.

Jason Chisum
CSR -
Jill Grabowski, CSR
When she’s not at one of the Disney parks, Jill’s working her own magic on our technical and support issues. Having spent time in the trenches of family, she is adequately prepared to handle any crisis from log-in problems to getting jelly stains out of shirts.
Jill Grabowski
CSR -
Stacy Hansard, CSR
Stacy has a background in elementary education and 15 years of church-related ministry and adiminstration. Consequently, she is qualified to “answer questions and stuff”, even for those EGR (extra grace required) scenarios. Her free time finds her traveling, singing, or doing both at the same time.

Stacy Hansard
CSR -
Brian Nguyen, Sr. QA Test Engineer
Brian is our exTerminator, formerly a cybernetic organism from the future, he now hunts and eliminates system bugs in the present. When he’s not hard at work bringing customer issues to quick and complete closure, he enjoys photography, golf, and video games. He’ll be back.

Brian Nguyen
Sr. QA Test Engineer -
Jennifer Wu, QA Test Engineer
Jenny’s love of scuba and the beach somehow landed her smack-dab in the middle of Dallas. But her computer science background in every industry from law to cosmetics makes her a great boon to bug-proof our system. She loves international travel and saves any regrets for horseshoes and handbags.

Jennifer Wu
QA Test Engineer -

Scott Erikkson

Nick Spiro, Project Manager
Nick’s background in business intelligence, integrated planning, and streamlining processes makes him a great fit for our team. He can debug, brainstorm, and develop with the best. Given the hours he keeps, we’re thankful that some of his best work comes while sleepwalking.

Nick Spiro

Dick Ronchetti, Co-Founder/Advisor
In addition to being one of the company’s founders, Dick has spent over 30 years as a capital markets expert, serving on numerous boards, government finance associations, etc. Conclusion: Dick is real smart.
