  You know where you stand with John, even if you’re sitting. With over 25 years managing business units and sales teams, he’s a straight shooter with a history of streamlining operations. As an avid guitar player with 9 axes who’s also met Joe Walsh, we expect an office serenade soon.

• Samia Hall, VP Merchandising

  Native Hoosier with over 10 years of shopping–we mean “retail”–experience, Samia loves completing projects and has an MBA in Business Management. She manages vendor relationships, the Blastoff Mall, and Specials and Promotions. We think her Blackberry is an additional appendage.

• Susan Tonjes, VP Program Mgmt.

  Susan came to us with a herd of cats and more than 20 years of managerial consulting experience. She runs her own consulting firm, is a founding member of a non-profit women’s organization, was the youngest woman to reach SVP at Sabre Holdings, and volunteers with a local hospital, as well as local animal welfare groups.   Aaron’s instincts for what’s cool (and what’s not) have served him well. He’s been an early arrival to more than one popular social network site, takes his fun seriously (and his seriousness lightheartedly) and works hard to create dynamic experiences for everyone.

• Juli Todd, Executive Assistant

  Juli not only regulates the daily goings-on’s, but also brings order to our chaos (without causing any herself,of course). She fancies herself ‘ruler of all’,which may be accurate given her 15-year background of administrative support, but we think it’s because she’s keeper of the food and drink.

  Jules handles the comings and goings of our office. She has BA in sociology and studied abroad, having lived in England and Germany. Music occupies most of her free time and her disposable income. Ironically, she chose our office in which to start her ‘grown-up life’…little does she know

• Dave Kiger, Sr. Web Developer/Scrum Master

  Our Scrum Master is the ‘man behind the curtain’, keeping the wolves away from the Blastoff flock. In addition to his 10 years of PHP web development, Dave spent his early years running an after-school/summer daycare, which effectively prepared him to facilitate a development team, especially ours.

  Our resident musician and member of the band “Watching Cars”. Dave is an amalgam of programmer, performer, and chocolate snob. Dave is also a fan of Kurt Vonnegut novels and Wes Anderson films, so we never know whether to laugh or be afraid around him.

  Chris left the land of fine arts and found his true calling in the world of web development. Ultimately, he was able to merge the two worlds as the author of two books. Chris keeps our development team running…for their lives; his team building exercises involve virtually sniping his friends.

  Having spent four years in the USAF and a tour in Iraq, the horrors of our office couldn’t faze Greg. His seven years of web development experience more than qualify him to hold our frontline. He also counts his time with Match.com as work experience, even though they paid him in dates.

  We hired Steve because he can finish Minesweeper in under 90 seconds..on the expert level! And then there’s that programming expertise thing too. Steve lends his intense concentration and dedication to the development team – even while doing his job; otherwise, we can’t drag him off the disc golf course.

  Patrick puts things in ways everyone can understand them, whether it’s millions of lines of code running on itty bitty embedded silicon chips spread across the world wide web or building a Lego model. If you meet him, shake his hand. You’ll be shaking hands with hand that shook Buzz Aldrin’s and Kathy Ireland’s hands.

  He’s not from TX, but we don’t hold that against him. D3 brings many years of user interface experience with him, so we granted him unofficial residency. Dave may be our ‘make-it-look-nice’ guy, but he’s still searching for the Photoshop filter that makes people look like models.

  From the front-end to the back-end, Booker’s had it covered for the past 12 years. While not cutting and coding our content, he spends time with his 2 kids, 2 dogs, and many bonsai trees. Like St. Augustine, he feels that “patience is the companion of wisdom.”

  Bill loves challenges, so we give him plenty. With more than 15 years of experience implementing and supporting networked enterprise solutions, however, he tackles them easily. He also loves to travel, especially camping and sailing, and putting his amateur radio license to good use.

  With everything from screenplays to comic books in his repertoire, our writing czar is the voice behind the text. When not taking a Hollywood meeting, Lee’s teaching, engaged in community service, or buried in home improvement projects. He worked on both Batman and The Tick, so his writing style must be, you know, um.catchy.

  Whether deciphering the cryptic vision of our CCO or giving Blastoff its public face, Phillip can tackle it thanks to 15 years of digital media experience…and a nice glass of Scotch. His father’s advice was relevant to our office: “The pain will go away when it stops hurting.”

  James received his position mainly due to his last name, and of course, his experience as a filmmaker and multimedia developer in the direct sales and network marketing arenas. He also enjoys making movies-we don’t ask him what kind-and losing money on fantasy football.

  Jason loves the great outdoors, which uniquely qualifies him to sit in a cubicle all day. He leverages his background of managing a 40-member customer service center to our benefit. From hiking in CO to playing golf closer to home, we let him out once in a while.

  Stacy has a background in elementary education and 15 years of church-related ministry and adiminstration. Consequently, she is qualified to “answer questions and stuff”, even for those EGR (extra grace required) scenarios. Her free time finds her traveling, singing, or doing both at the same time.

• Brian Nguyen, Sr. QA Test Engineer

  Brian is our exTerminator, formerly a cybernetic organism from the future, he now hunts and eliminates system bugs in the present. When he’s not hard at work bringing customer issues to quick and complete closure, he enjoys photography, golf, and video games. He’ll be back.
